University of Missouri Alumni. Graduating with honors in 2022 with a Bachelor of Journalism, focusing on cross-platform editing and producing, and two minors in sociology and philosophy.

I have worked across various mediums, including radio, television, photojournalism and print. Sporting bylines in notable publications such as St. Louis’s CBS affiliate station First Alert 4, Costa Rica’s first Monteverde area paper, The Monteverde News, and mid-Missouri NPR affiliate station KBIA.

Past jobs have included, but are not limited to:

• podcast recording and editing

• live radio host and sound board operator

• gathering, writing and proofing breaking news

• managing social media and developing engaging content

• copyediting and fact-checking

I believe in looking at the entire picture – from the international factors causing a situation to the social and interpersonal details that impact the average person. This is reflected in my journalism as I aim always to speak the truth and do what I can to help my community.

Outside of professional settings, I have been an avid photographer all my life and enjoy wildlife and nature photography, as well as Americana-style documentation of small towns and old buildings.
